You accidentally hit a curb or other obstacle and bend, dent, or abrade one of your vehicle’s factory alloy wheels. Such damage is not only unsightly, it can be dangerous. A damaged wheel may not allow the wheel to stay seated on the bead and it may not hold air. A bent or dented wheel may not enable the tire to track properly, upsetting vehicle handling, and this kind of damage can also cause a bothersome vibration which can also wear suspension and driveline parts. Don’t drive with a damaged wheel ! A remanufactured factory alloy wheel is indistinguishable from a new wheel, and it will take a much smaller bite out of your wallet.

EG Wheels carefully inspects all received factory alloy wheels to make sure they’re repairable within their safety standards. Any wheel with damage that compromises the structural integrity, such as severe dents, elongated lug holes, or outer diameter defects, is rejected. This screening process ensures EG remanufactured alloy wheels will meet or exceed industry safety standards. If accepted, the alloy wheel is straightened to tolerances tighter than specified by the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) to ensure a smooth ride, and all gouges are welded and hand detailed to exact specifications. The old wheel finish and any contaminants are removed, leaving bare metal. The applicable finish is then applied, including powder coating or liquid painting. If polishing is required, not only the face of the wheel but the entire barrel will be polished using state-of-the-art equipment. A final step of powder or liquid clear coat is applied and baked on for long lasting durability.
